My Detox Smoothie
I absolutely love a quick, easy to make, healthy meal. You can always count on me for minimal effort recipes :). This one is sweet, with no added sugar so it won't mess with your insulin, and it will leave you feeling insanely full.
keto-ish - vegan options - gluten-free - whole food
1 cup: Hello Puddin Chia Company’s Blueberry with Chaga Mushroom Chia Pudding
1 cup(ish) of frozen blueberries
8-10 oz Walnut Milk
4 oz of no sugar added kefir or greek yogurt. Feel free to use coconut kefir or coconut yogurt for vegan option.
Blend all on high until well mixed.

- Chaga, chia, and blueberries are all extremely high in antioxidants. Antioxidants are essentially the clean up crew for your body. They fight the free radicals which cause oxidative stress, which in turn causes disease (I won’t bore you with the more science-y explanation).
- Probiotics in the yogurt or kefir are so necessary to aid in digestion, and the natural elimination of toxins. Everything in your waste disposal system (aka your digestion system) needs to be in working order on a microbe level to make sure it runs efficiently, and dispose efficiently. Healthy gut = healthy immune system. In addition to that, the added protein will surely enhance your detox smoothie so that you can stay fuller longer.
- Walnut milk is one of my favorite milks that I keep around the house. Its low in net carbs and walnuts can assist the liver in detoxing.
